The Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, UPM) is launching a program based on cutting-edge neuroscience and neurotechnology to transfer the latest scientific advances to students.Training the next generation of neurotechnologists is a fundamental pillar of the UPM Neuroscience and Neurotechnology initiative.

UPM has an extraordinary capacity in several fields of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology. The UPM professors and researchers who will teach the Masters bring together multidisciplinary expertise, providing a full range of classes including measuring and analysing brain signals, neuroimaging, sensors and advanced materials, simulation, neurodevices, artificial intelligence, brain-computer-interface, neuroprosthesis, neuroethics, etc. The UPM’s multidisciplinary expertise is the foundation on which this institution seeks to advance the fields of neuroscience and neurotechnology in the coming years, with this Masters program being an essential component of this goal.

The UPM Masters in NEUROTEC will provide students with an advanced and specialized education, with a focus on their professional specialization, fostering the development of advanced technological skills in the specific area of Neurotechnology, giving them at the same time the opportunity to initiate technological innovation tasks in companies in the Neurotechnology sector or clinical centers and hospitals.

The teaching center responsible for the program is the School of Telecommunications Engineering-UPM.
